Back of my spiral notebook for this college school year.
Every year I do a drawing on the brown cardboard backing of my notebooks. This was done entirely in black permanent marker (no pencil/erasing!) and then touched up with white coloured pencil. Scanned and pieced together in Fireworks (only because my scanner is too small). Otherwise, no changes. Title "Old Familiar Sting" from the song "Hurt," originally by Nine Inch Nails, and then covered by Johnny Cash. Song lyrics and title "Worlds Apart" from the song by that name by Bruce Springsteen. Enjoy! -------------- EDIT: I added a border now and elaborated the description. This is my favourite piece of all time. -------------- |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
