Back of my spiral notebook for this college school year.

Every year I do a drawing on the brown cardboard backing of my notebooks. This was done entirely in black permanent marker (no pencil/erasing!) and then touched up with white coloured pencil. Scanned and pieced together in Fireworks (only because my scanner is too small). Otherwise, no changes.

Title "Old Familiar Sting" from the song "Hurt," originally by Nine Inch Nails, and then covered by Johnny Cash. Song lyrics and title "Worlds Apart" from the song by that name by Bruce Springsteen.

EDIT: I added a border now and elaborated the description. This is my favourite piece of all time.

eheh cool! 8-D i always do the same to the brown backs of notebooks etc, they just...yell out to be drawn upon! 'cept i never do ones this detailed :O_o: i just draw stick figures or cartoon characters saying stupid things ^^; very cool art :thumbsup: and a good way to tell which notebook is yours! :D
